Jake called us outside yesterday to show me what he saved from the path of the lawn mower. He had me take a couple of pictures and left the little guy sitting on the porch in front of us, shut up tight.
Soon, he got curious and started peeking out of his shell. Evan was thrilled!
*In Australian accent* "Crikey, look at this little beauty!"
They had a close encounter...
But I think he wanted to get into our house instead!We put the little guy back out into the deep weeds and he happily scurried away
